Alabama's Chris Braswell makes a case why he would be an ideal fit with the Ravens
John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens may be on the lookout for a few pass rushers in the coming months, and they could possibly turn their attention to former Alabama standout Chris Braswell.

Braswell declared for the 2024 NFL Draft in January following a four-year run at Alabama. He bolstered his draft stock during his final campaign with the Crimson Tide, tallying career highs in tackles for loss (10.5) and sacks (8.0).

Braswell, who is widely projected to be selected in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft, could see himself with a number of NFL teams, including the Ravens.

"I've grown up a Ravens fan," Braswell said during a press conference at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. "Their style of defensive play fits me, kind of like Bama. ... I think it fits me."

Braswell also noted that he "sees himself as a defensive end, edge'" but he can "play anything."

As mentioned, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta may look to bring in reinforcements to his team’s front seven during this year’s free agency period and the 2024 NFL Draft. Braswell sure would be a welcome addition to Baltimore’s well-rounded defense.
