The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to start rookie minicamp this weekend.
Running Friday through Sunday, the three day event will be a test for a variety of undrafted free agents, invitees, and even a few veterans.
Here are the three UDFAs to keep an eye on:
An extremely well rounded athlete, the former Knight at the University of Central Florida will be one of the more intriguing players to watch at camp. He played both baseball and football at UCF, and was productive as both a WR and QB. Where he plays most over the weekend will be telling for his projection.
The Steelers have a stacked RB room with Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and recently acquired Cordarrelle Patterson. But with the Steelers opting to decline the fifth year option for Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren also approaching the final year of his rookie deal, the productive former Georgia Bulldog could carve out a role on the roster.
A local product from West Virginia University, Bishop has the best shot of any UDFA to make the team. He plays slot corner, a position Pittsburgh has yet to address, and his college tape suggests he can be an NFL player.
