After seeing his initial attempt saved by the opposition keeper, Ronaldo converted one of the most unlikely chances. As Al-Khaleej played themselves into trouble at the back, Ibrahim Sehic‘s failed clearance dropped at the edge of the box for Ronaldo. The No.7, who had his back facing the opposition goal unleashed a no-look volley with his ‘weak’ foot.

The shot went up and over the opposition keeper and into the net. The crowd erupted into celebrations as Ronaldo hit his iconic SIUUU celebration in front of the Al-Nassr fans.

His second goal came early in the second half, when Ayman Ahmed found the striker at the far post. Despite his first attempt being saved, Ronaldo comfortably placed the rebound into the net.

Cristiano Ronaldo ‘blamed’ for Erik ten Hag’s failure at United

Manchester United were all set for success a few seasons ago when Erik ten Hag took charge of the club. Paired with Cristiano Ronaldo, fans were convinced that the Red Devils were bound for success.
